Virtual Genealogy: Beyond the Brick Wall: Strategies for Pre-1850 U.S. Research

Tuesday, December 97:00—8:00 PMZoom

Researching Americans before 1850 can be challenging; records are sparse, unindexed, and harder to locate. This class introduces strategies for identifying relationships and demonstrates advanced research techniques, record analysis, and evidence correlation.

This program is presented by the Genealogy Collective and hosted by the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Library. Our Collective includes six North Shore libraries: Bayville, Glen Cove, Gold Coast, Locust Valley, Manhasset, and Oyster Bay. Together, we provide monthly genealogy programs online.
